Inkarnation – Remixing
Denke schon seit einiger Zeit darüber nach eine kleine Serie von Einträgen zu Inkarnation zu schreiben. Bisher bin ich dann aber immer wieder davor zurückgeschreckt dieses schöne und komplexe Thema ungenau darzustellen… im Moment denke ich, dass ich einfach mal etwas in den Raum werfe und dann irgendwann mit weiteren Einträgen weitermache. Von daher ist das nur einer von mehreren Einträgen, der wie alle natürlich nicht »allumfassend« ist.
Halte heute morgen wieder mal dieses wunderbare Buch in meinen Händen und stolpere darin über zwei sehr coole Aussagen:

The world we live in is invicting us to find fresh ways of thinking about the relationship between gospel and culture. Jesus, the Word became flesh, lived and loved in the midst of his culture. He routinely used the common, the familiar, the cultural to help the gospel connect with those who listened to him. He attended weddings and feasts and festivals and made his presence known in his community.
Our contemporary mission, then, is to see Jesus fleshed out in the postmodern neighborhood. The Incarnation of God calls us to sample from God’s world. This is the mission reflection that must haunt the emerging church.
